Important Notice
Surrendering a beloved pet is never an easy decision, and we understand that life circumstances can change. If you're considering surrendering your guinea pig, please know that we're here to help however we can.
Submitting a surrender request does not guarantee immediate placement. As a 100% volunteer-run rescue, our ability to accept new guinea pigs depends on available space, foster homes, and resources. We work hard to help as many guinea pigs as possible while ensuring every animal already in our care continues to receive the attention they deserve.
If you're able to foster your guinea pig temporarily—or know someone who may be interested—we encourage you to visit our Foster page. Even short-term foster care can make a tremendous difference while we work toward finding a permanent solution.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support of our volunteers and foster families. We couldn't do this without them.
How to Surrender
If you need to surrender your guinea pig for any reason, we are here to help! Fill out the surrender questionnaire by clicking the button below. Once we receive your completed form, we will find a foster to place them with. When a foster is available we will contact you for further details. Keep in mind that we sometimes have a waiting list and placement may not be immediate. If you are needing immediate services, please include that in your application.
